For the past five years, I have been developing a series of portraits inspired by photographs taken at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood, CA. The series features sculptures and headstones, drawing from the traditional Memento Mori genre to explore themes of mortality and its counterpart: permanence. This is one of the smallest pieces in the series. It has been included in a group show with the international online gallery Wox x Wow
